Closing the Month

After you complete Month End Checks, you can close the month to advance to the next billing period. You can close the month at the Community or Management Console. 

You can use the Management Console to close the period for multiple communities, This allows you to select more than one community and quickly close the period. You can close the month for the communities you have access to.

Complete Month End Checks before closing the month.  

Closing the posting period at the community

  1. Billing > Billing > Month End Checks.

  2. Click Close Month.

Closing the posting period at Management Console

  1. Operations > Close Current Periods.

  2. Select Posting Period.

  3. Select Line of Business.

  4. Select Status.

    • Select the communities to be closed.

    • Click Close Periods.

    Close Period results appear as

    • A green check mark to indicate a successful close. 

    • A red triangle to indicate failed census validation to close.

    • A plus symbol to expand and review errors and warnings.
