Striking Out an Incident Report

When the New Incident window (when opening an incident report) is completed and saved, information cannot be edited. If any information is incorrect, the incident report needs to be struck out and re-entered with correct information.

After an Incident Report is struck out, it is moved to the Struck Out tab and can only be viewed or printed. Strike Out details show in the header of the struck out Incident Report. When viewing a struck out incident report, use the Return to Struck Out List to navigate back.

Warning

When striking out an Incident report, any linked forms or progress notes created from the Actions tab of the Incident report are also struck out.

  1. Care Services > Incidents > Active > select incident report.

  2. Click the strike out link next to the incident report.

  3. Enter reason for strike out.

  • Striking Out an Incident Report requires Incident Record Security permission to be set to R/A/E/D.
