Creating Service Plan Types 

You can add, edit, and delete Service Plan Types from the Service Plan Type Pick List. After created, Service Plan Types can be added to Service Plan focuses either through the pick list, through the Service Plan Library at the Management Console or the community level, or by the end user at the resident level. There are no system set Service Plan Types, you need to create your library. 

Note

Service Plan Types must first be enabled in Service Plan Configuration. 

Warning

Deleting a Service Plan Type removes it from all active service plans and linked focuses.

  1. Care Services > Setup > Pick Lists.

  2. Click Service Plan Types

    • The list next to the name shows what is currently available to your staff.

  • focuses - Click this link to attach your Service Plan Type to specific focuses. Click Add in the window and make your selections. 

    Note

    After completing these steps, new Service Plan Types and related focuses do not change current active service plans at the resident level. To update all active service plans with your new Service Plan Type, see the Service Plan Items.
