Navigating the Point of Care (POC) Resident Care Record Quick Reference Guide

This screen contains items required to navigate the POC resident care record.

Back button

Click to go back to the resident list.

2.

Prev and Next buttons

Click to navigate to the previous or next resident.

3.

Resident header

Review resident information. For example, name, gender, allergies, and code status.

Click the grey bar to expand the resident header and view additional resident information. For example, special instructions, diet, diagnoses, and move in date. The header remains expanded until you click to collapse it.

Current Vitals section

Review resident vitals.

Resident Tasks filter buttons

Click to filter tasks by All, PRN, QShift, or Unscheduled.

Various buttons

Unscheduled Task - Click to document a task that is not in the resident's task list.

Resident Not Available - Click to document a response of Resident Not Available for all tasks that are not complete.

New Alert - Click to create an alert for the resident.

ISP - Click to view the resident's Individual Service Plan.

Service Plan - Click to view the resident's service plan. The Service Plan is not available in POC Mobile.

Click to select a task to document.

Instructions icon

Indicates the task contains Instructions.

Click to go to the next page of tasks.
