Enabling and Disabling Clinical Chart

You can enable charts if you have appropriate security permissions to do so. If the feature is not enabled, you cannot configure or use the Clinical Chart.

In multi-community organizations, Clinical Chart can be enabled for one, some, or all communities.

Multi-community

  1. Multi-community: Management Console > Care Management > click Enable Clinical Chart.

  2. Click Manage Clinical Chart. Organization reflects Yes and date enabled.

  3. Search by all or select community(ies).

  4. Click Show Inactive Facility, if applicable.

  5. Select communities to enable.

  6. Click Enable. Community shows Enabled Date.

Single community

  • Care Services > Setup > click Enable Clinical Chart. Organization reflects Yes and date enabled.

  • Show Inactive Facility allows you to select and enable an inactive facility to generate a Clinical Chart for a resident.

  • You can disable Clinical Chart by clicking Manage/Disable Clinical Chart and clicking No, then Save. The disabled date/time is recorded.

  • If you have multiple communities in your organization, you may have multiple pages of communities to enable. Only the communities selected are enabled. You can also show communities that have or don’t have Clinical Chart enabled using the options in the Specify Communities area.

  • If you have multiple communities in your organization, you can make them inactive by selecting the community name and clicking Inactive. Date of inactive status is recorded and shown under the Date Inactive column.
