Leave Tracking by Community Overview

Leave tracking can be enabled with the by community option, which is the typical setup for Canadian organizations. Leave tracking is setup from an independent leave tracking setup area and leave days are tracked for each Resident cumulatively, regardless of the payer. This is the default option selected for all Canadian organizations in the Community Configuration for the option Track LOA Days by.

The option by payer or by community depends on how your organization tracks leave hold days and this can vary by community in your organization.
