Service Comparison Report

The Service Comparison Report has various options to list residents with and/or without discrepancies between their service level, and the one suggested by their latest UDA. It can also list all the Additional Services and Other Recurring Charges for each listed resident.

  1. Billing > Reports > Service Comparison Report.

  2. To run the report for a specific resident, type the Resident Number or Resident name, or use the lookup.gif to search for the Resident Number. Or leave these fields bank, and the report shows all residents with service packages based on the criteria selected for the report.

  3. Select Show Discrepancies Only to show only discrepancies between the resident’s service package and the one suggested by their latest UDA.

  4. Select Show Assessment Information to show the assessment information for each resident.

  5. Select Include Additional Services to show all the additional services included in the resident’s service package.

  6. Select Include Other Recurring Charges to show all the other recurring charges for each resident.

  7. Select a specific Service Category from the list to show only the selected Service Category on the report, or select All to show all service categories.

From EMC > Reporting

  1. Click Service Comparison Report under the Billing section.

  2. Select Specify Buildings to All Buildings if you want the report to show service comparison information for all non-skilled nursing buildings. Or select Select to select all the buildings required for the report.

  3. Follow steps 3 through 8 above.

The report shows the report options used to run the report, and it provides details on the Resident’s Services, Recommended Service Level if applicable, Actual resident service level, recurring charges or additional services, and the monthly or daily service price.

  • The Service Comparison report shows all discrepancies under the actual column in red.

  • If a resident had no pending service level change notification, or a current service level, then None appears in red under the actual column on the report.

  • If the report is run for all residents in a facility (at a facility level) or all/selected facilities (at EMC level), the system selects all residents that have a service package that is active on the date when a user runs a report.

  • The report always uses the current date and time.

  • If there are Additional Services, or Recurring Charges selected on the report setup page, then each resident listed on the report has Additional services or recurring charges listed under Other Recurring Charges.

  • When show assessment information is selected for the report, then the locked assessment date appears on the report.
