Overview of Incidents

The Incidents module exists as a separate entity from the resident's chart. You can record and follow up on the resident incidents tracked through PointClickCare. The data entered does not appear or print with resident chart information. However, Progress Notes and Form schedules can be configured and linked to Incident reports.

The configuration allows you to record/track any resident incident that occurs at a community using a data entry process that lets you enter general details of the event, a description of the event, any statements from the resident or witnesses and any follow-up action to be taken. Reporting simplifies the analysis of the logged incidents for Quality Assurance and Improvement purposes.
