Vacancy Dashboard Pane

The Vacancy Dashboard pane provides available bed information to help you place residents. Available beds are determined by occupancy and weight as assigned in the living unit List. Potential Occupancy shows the number of beds in the living unit and Rate Type appears for available beds.

The rate type and market rate are based on rental type weight and whether the living unit is fully or partially occupied:

  • For fully available living units, the default rate type appears with the appropriate market rate.

  • For partially occupied living units, the number of beds available depends on the rental rate type and remaining occupancy weight for the living unit

Market rates are from rate schedules. living unit type, size, and deposit required are from living unit listing setup. Current status is based on census:

  • If the living unit is currently occupied, Available On date is the planned move-out date based on the estimated discharge date entered in the resident census demographics screen.

    • The status is Occupied Planned Move Out the day of the Estimated Discharge Date.

    • If the resident still resides at the location with no discharge or death census entry, then the status is Occupied.

  • If the living unit is currently inactive, this is the scheduled end date of the inactive period.

  • If the living unit is available on the date the report is run, Now appears in the Available on column.

  • If the living unit is leased/rented, Last Available Date is the planned move in date of the new renter.

  • Each bed has an occupancy status. The overall status of the bed is a combination of the census action type, census status type, and lease start and lease end dates:

    • Occupied - The bed is assigned to a resident through census.

    • Available - The bed is in active status, but no resident census is associated with the bed.

    • Rented & Vacant - The bed is in an active status and is being paid for, but resident is not physically occupying the bed.

    • Occupied, Planned Move Out - The bed is in active status and a resident census is associated with this bed.

    • Inactive - The bed is not available for use on bed setup screen.

  • If you track occupancy by weight, Companion beds are included.

  • If a Security Deposit is required for a living unit, the amount appears.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Billing > Dashboard >  Vacancy.

    • Home >  Billing Dashboard> Vacancy.

  2. Living Unit 212 is a Private living unit with 2 beds.  Bed A appears as available with the private rate in Market Rate, and bed B does not appear. Only 1 bed appears because the Rate Type, Private, has weight 1.0. Potential occupancy is 2 because bed B is available for a Companion.
