Creating a Move Out/Deceased Census

You can create a census entry to capture a resident's move out or deceased date. These actions are selected when you want to end the resident's stay at your community. The effective date determines the last day room and board transactions are charged. However, you can select another stop billing date if you require the room and board transaction to end on a different day. 

Note

You are not required to clear the living unit. The assigned living unit is removed when you save. 

  1.  Billing > Resident Chart > Census/Rates > Census.

  • Payer Options - Verify Use Last Known Payer Setup file.

  • Stop Billing Date - Verify or select information.
