Managing Meal Service Sequence

The Meal Service Sequence refers to a custom sequence that you set up for each meal to determine the order in which your Tray Cards and batch meal tickets print. The Meal Service Sequence lists all the units you have set up in Units, Rooms, and Beds (Facility Setup) prefixed by "Eats in Room" and all of the Dining Areas you have set up in Dining Areas, Tables, and Seats (Facility Setup) under each meal. You can arrange the list in the order for each meal to determine your Tray Card or batch tickets sort order.

  1. Facility Setup > Meal Service Sequence.

  2. Click Arrange List for applicable meal.

  3. In Arrange Meal Service Sequence, select the unit or dining area you want to move. Use Move to Top, Move Up, Move Down, or Move to Bottom to move to the desired location.

  4. Repeat for each applicable unit or dining area.

  5. Repeat for each meal as applicable.

  • Batch meal tickets print sorted in order of the meal service sequence only.

  • Tray Cards print sorted by meal service sequence, dining location, unit, or resident name.

  • Eats in Room sorts by room number, dining areas with tables sort by table number, and dining areas without tables sort alphabetically by resident last name.
