Creating Historical Census

Historical census are census dates before the community on-line or go live date. The resident's historical dates create a timeline before implementing PointClickCare.

 Historical census can be helpful when completing monthly and yearly regulatory reporting requirements.

You must enter the resident's original move in date to your community. In addition to the original move in date, you include when applicable:

  • The most recent move out from the community.

  • The most recent readmission to the community.

Note

Pink historic census lines are acceptable because rates are not required before the go live date.

  1. Billing > Resident Chart > Census/Rates.

  • Payer - depending on the payer selected, different fields are available.

      For all Payers:

    • Payer Options: Use Last Known Payer Setup File.
