Creating New Previous Bed Hold/LOA Days Used

The Previous Bed Hold/LOA Days Used section found on a Resident's AR Profile tab is to be completed when the Resident has Used Leave days outside of the current facility. When applicable, complete a new entry under Previous Bed Hold/LOA Days Used for each resident. The system tracks for each leave period the Bed hold/LOA days used based on the start of leave date.

  3. Enter Start of Leave date.

  4. Select the Payer. Payer only appears when the Track LOA Days configuration is set to By Payer.

  5. Select the Rule.

  6. Enter the number of Days Previously Used.

  • The system adds the previous bed hold/LOA days to the current bed hold/LOA days when generating a census warning.

  • When Track LOA Days in Facility Configuration is set to By Facility, the Payer field does not appear in the Previous Bed Hold/LOA Days Used Entry Screen.

  • When Track LOA Days in Facility Configuration is set to By Facility, the available Rules to be selected are those configured for your community.

  • The available Payers to be selected are those with leave tracking configured.

  • The available Rules to be selected are those rules configured for the payer selected.
