Creating Charge and Adjustment Code Categories

Charge Adjustment Categories are used to group similar charge codes. Categorizing charge codes makes it easier to search or view charge codes during ancillary batch entry and in reporting. Charge adjustment categories are linked to similar charge codes during configuration of the charge codes. 

PointClickCare comes with predefined categories that you can edit, delete, or add to. 

  1. Do one of the following: 

    • Single facility: Admin > Setup > Charge/Adjustment Categories

    • Multi-facility: Management Console > Standards > Financial Management > Charge/Adjustment Categories
