Navigating the Orders Portal in eMAR Quick Reference Guide

This screen contains items required to navigate the Orders Portal in eMAR.

Orders Portal

A tab in eMAR used to reconcile orders or supplies received from the pharmacy.

2.

Set Orders Portal as My Default View

Click to see the Orders Portal first when you log in to eMAR.

To remove default view, click Unset Orders Portal as My Default View.

3.

Pending Orders

Shows orders pending confirmation and pending clinical review.

The number indicates how many total orders are pending.

4.

Pending Confirmation

Shows orders that are pending confirmation.

The number indicates how many orders require confirmation.

5.

Pending Clinical Review

Shows orders that are pending clinical review.

The number indicates how many orders require clinical review.

Display Filters

Information appears based on filters. 

Filters are available in both tabs.

Expand/Collapse

Shows additional order information.

Pending Supplies

Allows you to view orders that need to be reconciled and supplies received from the pharmacy.

2.

Quick Supply Management (IMM Only)

Allows you to quickly receive or update orders.

3.

Order Supply Summary

Shows the number of orders, supplies or residents in the category.

4.

To Be Ordered

Shows the orders or supplies entered but not yet requested from pharmacy.

5.

On Order (Manual)

Shows the orders or supplies entered and ordered from the pharmacy but not yet received.

6.

On Order (Electronic) (IMM Only)

Shows orders or supplies that were communicated electronically to the integrated pharmacy and are waiting to be acknowledged or dispensed by the integrated pharmacy.

7.

Waiting to Be Received (IMM Only)

Show orders or supplies that are dispensed from an integrated pharmacy and are waiting to be received by the facility.

8.

Follow-up (IMM Only)

Shows orders or supplies requiring follow-up so that another person can review the supply and complete the receiving process.

9.

Returned (IMM Only)

Shows orders or supplies marked as returned to pharmacy.

10.

Inbound Pharmacy Orders - Resident Match (IMM Only)

Shows the residents that need to be matched. After or orders are imported or sent from your integrated pharmacy PointClickCare identifies any residents whose demographics do not exactly match the demographic information within the pharmacy system.

Display Filters

Information appears based on filters.
