Analytics Resident Characteristics Dashboard

On the Facility Resident Dashboard, you can access Resident Characteristics. The resident characteristic filters allow you to view common data details shared by the residents that triggered a selected QI. This option supports root cause analysis.

The Resident Characteristics have 3 data charts of information: a red QI row showing the number of residents that triggered for a QI, pie charts that default to the characteristics of the residents in the facility that triggered any QI and a resident detail chart.

Note

Information on the Resident Characteristics page pulls from Accepted MDSs.

  • Clicking a Slice of any pie, further filters the resident chart to the list of resident that fit those filters. The numbers on the QI row changes, based on the pie chart filters. As the resident population is filtered for various characteristics, (slices of the pies) those that triggered each QI meeting those filters, are numerically shown in the QI row and listed by name in the resident data chart. To clear that piece of the pie, click on that Section again. Select more than one by Crtl+clicking.

  • Clicking on a Resident Name in the resident detail chart filters the pie charts, and QI row for that resident. Select more than one by Crtl+clicking.
