Adding Quality Improvement Project (QIP) Custom Instructions

Settings is an area where, with the appropriate security, you can customize instructions for each tab of the QIP.

Each tab of a QIP, except History, has a listing of instructions on the right side of the tab. These instructions are system provided Instructions that are specific to each tab. With the appropriate security, you can enter custom Instructions for each tab. You can add to the system provided instructions or add your own specific custom instructions only, which overwrites the system instructions for that tab.

Warning

You must select Enable for the custom instructions to appear.

  1. Analytics > QIP Tile > Cog Wheel > QIP > Custom Instructions.

  2. Click Custom Instructions.

  3. Using the list, select which tab to enter Custom Instructions for.

  4. Do one or both of the following: 

    • To add to system Instructions click the Load Default link, click inside the Custom Instructions box, and navigate to the area where you want to add/edit/delete instructions.

    • To add and overwrite the system Instruction, DO NOT click the Load Default link. Simply click inside the Custom Instructions box, and type your Custom Instructions.

  5. Select Enable.

  • Click the Load Default link to reload the system Instructions for that tab.

  • Formatting options are available in the Custom Instructions.

  • Adding Custom Instructions is security driven.
