Home - My Conversations

Those with access see a pane at the top of the Home area called My Conversations. The My Conversations pane on the Home area shows all active conversations that you are involved in, and allows you to view all active messages within a conversation.

Based on your security to the various types of conversations, you can create Resident-centric, General and Cross-Facility Conversations. Depending on the conversation type, you can also add participants, create a progress note, upload photos, leave conversation and end a conversation.

Based on security permissions, you can do/see the following:

  • Create a conversation using the New button.

  • Take actions on the conversation using the action icon next to the conversation.

  • See the number of unread messages within that conversation via the new message indicator icon.

  • Click the linked Resident name under Regarding column to navigate to that Resident's Clinical chart > Profile tab.

  • Open an existing conversation by clicking the linked message in the Most Recent Message column.

  • View the Sent Date (and Time) of the most recent message.

  • View Participants in the conversation.

  • If you do not have access to Secure Conversations, you do not see this area on the Home area.

  • Resident-centric Conversations shows the resident name and link to chart. You can also create a progress note, upload photos based on security.

  • General and Cross-Facility Conversations show a subject if entered under the Regarding column.

  • All other Home area panes are still present and available. They are moved lower on the Home area.

  • All unread messages appear in bold text across all columns in the My Conversations pane.

  • Hover over the most recent message to view the entire message without clicking the message link

  • A maximum of 50 Conversations appear on the My Conversations pane, if more than 50 Conversations are current, page links appear along the bottom of the pane.
