TASKS (PAPER) - Delete a Task

If you add a task by mistake, you can delete it.

  1. Facility > Clinical > Resident > Task Tab.

  2. Click del next to the Task Description. A warning appears. Click OK.

  3. Click OK.The task is placed back in the resident's available tasks list.

  • Best Practice indicates that after a task is documented, mark it Resolved/Cancelled instead of deleting it.

  • Deleting a task does not show in the audit trail under the 'H' (History) icon in the task tab.
