Inactive User Accounts Report

The Inactive User Accounts Report lists users that are inactive, or users that had their security access disabled for a specified period of time. You can create a report to review user's access and determine if there are any changes required to the security access, based on information provided in the report. You can print the Inactive User Accounts Report.

  1. Admin > Reports or EMC > Reporting.

  2. Click Inactive User Accounts Report under the Security section.

  3. Select User Status Inactive or Disabled to include only inactive users or only disabled users. 

  4. Enter the appropriate number of days in Show Only Users Who Have Not Logged in for at Least ____ Days.

  5. Clear any access type to exclude users with that Access Type.

  6. Sort By To change the sort, click the Days Ascending or Days Descending as needed.

  7. Select Export to Excel if you want to export into Excel.

  • You see the report options used to run the report, details on the User Name, Login Name, Last Login, Last Login IP Address, Status, Number of Days Inactive, and Access permission(s).

  • The Inactive Users Accounts Report shows the Status for Disabled Users showing the word Disabled printed in red.

  • Only the printed report includes a Days of Inactivity aging summary by User Status at the bottom of the report.

  • Security access is available for the Inactive User Admin. Reports using the system roles of Admin Security Role, SA eMAR, and at EMC Reporting using the system role of Financial EMC User.

  • You must be a security administrator or have equivalent access to run security reports.

  • You need Enterprise access run this report at EMC.
