Managing the System Assessments

In the Custom Assessments Library there are System assessments available, for example state-specific assessments. When System assessments are added by PointClickCare, they appear in the Ready for Scoring/SPN Setup section, and show 'System' next to the assessment description.

You cannot add or remove questions for System assessments. You can click the view link however, to add rules, triggers, lookbacks, narratives, or mark a question as required. You can also click on the assessment description to add schedules, dependencies, create a Structured Progress Note and amend certain fields.

If you want to use a System assessment, you must move it from the Ready for Scoring/SPN Setup section to the On Line section.

Note

An Assessment is immediately available for selection in a resident's chart after clicking make available on-line.

  1. Click make available on-line for the System assessment.

  • You cannot create a new version of a System assessment, however you can copy it over to create a new assessment. You must give the new assessment a unique description, because it is no longer a System assessment.
