Creating EFT Timing Configurations

EFT Timing Configurations allow you to set up Timing Profiles to define when EFT cash batches should be auto created. After EFT Timing Configurations are created, they are available for selection within Resident EFT Setup.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Single facility: Admin > Setup > EFT Configuration.

    • Multi-facility: EMC > Standards > EFT Configuration.

  2. Click the EFT Timing Configuration link.

  3. Enter a Schedule Description.

  4. Select a Batch Schedule for:

    • First weekday of the month.

    • On the (select a day from the list) of the month. For example, On the third of the month.

    • (Select a number from the list) and (select a day of the week from the list) of the month. For example, first Sunday of the month.

  5. Generate Batch X weekdays before Effective Date. Use to generate the EFT batch before the effective date of the batch. This option provides lead time so you can review, edit, and export EFT batches in advance of the effective date.

    • For example, if the EFT batch is set to auto create on the 1st weekday of the month, when you input 3 in the field name, the EFT batch auto creates 3 days before the 1st weekday of the month. If the effective date falls on a Monday, the batch auto creates on the previous Wednesday in this example.

  6. Save. The Timing Profile is now active for all facilities within the organization.

  • EFT must be enabled.

  • The Schedule Description cannot be the same as another Schedule Description.

  • The Security module allows system administrators of a facility to create users and give them appropriate levels of access by assigning pre-set roles or customized roles. The Security options allow the system administrators to limit user access to modules and functionality, simplify the task of tracking user access levels, and create customized roles.
