Editing Quality Improvement Project (QIP) – Study

Several categories within an active QIP that need to be edited to work through and complete the QIP process. You can navigate through the categories using the Problem solving model PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act) by editing the information in the subcategories.

  1. Analytics > QIP > click the QIP Title.

Study 

  • Study - Allows you to keep track of meetings and notes regarding changes in the status of the QIP.

  • History - Shows a history of all changes that were made to the PIP since it was created, includes the date the changes were made and the team member that made the changes.

    • Clicking the arrow next to the team member name opens the details about those changes.

  • Buttons on the top right side of the screen allow you to navigate back to the QIP dashboard and to generate printable reports for the QIP Summary and PIP Detail.

  • Instructions and hints remains on the right side of the page throughout the QIP creation and when editing under the Plan category to cue QIP users about how to complete the fields, including links to QIP and QAPI tools.

  • The role of facilitator initially appears as the creator of the QIP, but can be edited.
