All Conversations Dashboard Pane

If you have access, you can see the Clinical Dashboard pane called All Conversations. This Dashboard view is particularly useful for nursing management and care team staff to ensure that appropriate inclusion and follow up can occur when providing care to residents.

Users who are not participants in a resident-centric conversation can view and add themselves to a conversation from the Clinical Dashboard to keep the communication going from shift-to-shift. Based on the filters along the top of the Clinical Dashboard, you can see all active conversations for a Unit, Floor or Primary Physician. Only Resident-centric Conversations appears in this dashboard pane.

Based on security permissions, you can do/see the following:

  • All active resident-centric conversations based on the filters mentioned above and sorted by Sent Date and Time.

  • Create a New conversation.

  • Add participants, create a progress note, upload photos or end a conversation using the action icon next to the conversation.

  • Click the linked Resident Name under Regarding column to navigate to that Resident's Clinical chart > Profile Tab.

  • Open an existing conversation by clicking the linked message in the Most Recent Message column. You can add to the conversation and automatically add yourself as a Participant in the conversation.

  • View the Sent Date (and Time) of the most recent message.

  • View Participants in the Conversation.

  • Any conversations with unread messages by any user appears in bold text across all columns in the My Conversations pane.

  • After a conversation with unread messages is opened from the Dashboard by a non-participant, the messages appear as read in the dashboard, however the message still appears unread for the individual participants in the conversation who have not yet read the message.

  • Hover over the most recent message to view the entire message without clicking the message link.

  • There is a maximum of 50 Conversations on the All Conversations pane. If more than 50 Conversations are current across the facility according to filters, page links appear along the bottom of the pane.

  • Only Resident-centric conversations appear in this All Conversations pane. General and Cross-Facility Conversations appear in the My Conversations pane only.

  • You must have appropriate security permissions to Resident-centric Conversations.
