Priority Report (Advanced Report)

The Priority Report is an advanced report that identifies and monitors priority residents. Priority residents are defined as having changes from previous week including decreased meal intake and weight loss, change in behaviors, increased bladder incontinence, new pressure ulcer or worsened ulcer. It also monitors residents with red or open areas.

  1. Clinical > Reports > Priority Report.

  • POC Advanced Reports must be enabled in POC Configuration.

  • Tasks must contain the appropriate system FUQ /Tasks to populate the report.

  • The Weights & Vitals module must be in use.

  • Advanced Report security options must be assigned to the user.

The Priority Report uses the documented responses from the following "system" POC Follow Up Questions (FUQ) to calculate the report results:

The "Urinary Continence" POC "system" FUQ includes the following list values:

  • Complete Control [includes use of indwelling urinary catheter that does not leak urine]

  • Incontinent

  • Not Applicable [Did not Void]

The "Behavior" POC "system" FUQ includes the following list values:

  • Frequent Crying

  • Repeats Verbalization

  • Repeats Movement

  • Sexually Inappropriate

  • Yelling/Screaming

  • Kicking/Hitting

  • Pinch/Scratch/Spitting

  • Biting

  • Wandering

  • Abusive Language

  • Threatening Behavior

  • Resistant to Care

  • None of the Above Observed

An asterisk appears next to the number if a resident has at least two new behaviors documented since the previous week

The "Skin Observation" POC "system" FUQ includes the following list values:

  • Scratched

  • Red Areas

  • Discoloration

  • Skin Tears

  • Open Areas

  • None of the above observed.

The Priority Report also uses the documented values for the resident's weight from the Weights and Vitals section of the resident's chart.
