Managing the Custom Assessments Library - Sections

The Custom Assessment Library consists of four sections. Each section contains links, the assessment description, and the assessment status.

  • Under Construction - Contains assessments that are being created. After all structural changes (sections - if applicable, question groups, questions, and narratives - if applicable) are complete, click make available for scoring to move the assessment down to the next section.

  • Ready for Scoring/SPN Setup - Contains assessments that are structurally complete. After scores and/or Structured Progress Notes are added, click make available on-line to move the assessment down to the next section.

    Note

    An Assessment is immediately available for selection in a resident's chart after clicking make available on-line.

  • On Line - Contains assessments that are in use (in the facilities selected in the facilities link). Online assessments are available for selection in the Assmnts tab of a resident's chart. If an assessment is no longer needed, click retire to move the assessment down to the next section.

  • Retired - Contains assessments that are no longer in use. Retired assessments can be copied to create a new assessment, or moved online again.
