Changing Passwords in the Mobile Apps

You can change your password through the Secure Conversations mobile app. If changing your password and you have access to the PointClickCare through other means (web application, other mobile apps), your PointClickCare password is changed for those other login areas, too.

Similarly if your password is changed through PointClickCare through web application or other mobile apps, this password change is also made for the Secure Conversations mobile app.

If you are a user with access solely to the Secure Conversations mobile app, you may be prompted upon first logging into the app to change your password for security and policy reasons in your organization. As well, if your facility or organization requires you to change your password routinely, you receive notification of your password expiring through the Secure Conversations mobile app.

  • On login, you see a Password Expired message if you are required to change your password.

  • You can change your password at any time by tapping the ‘’ (Android) or ‘’ (iOS) option from the Conversations listing screen.

  1. Enter Current password (may already be entered).

  2. Enter your New password.

  3. Enter to Confirm password.

  4. Tap Save. Your password is changed.

  • You see a Password Expired popup only if your facility/organization requires this on first login or routinely due to policy.

  • You must adhere to any password rules (length, character requirements, and so on) as configured by your facility/organization. If your password does not meet the password rules you are prompted with an error message.

  • Changing your password changes your password elsewhere in PointClickCare applications.
