CKPI – Resident Characteristics Data Charts

The Resident Characteristic page shows you common data details shared by the residents that triggered selected CKPIs. This area helps in supporting the analyst's root cause analysis.

Resident Characteristics contains 3 data charts; The CKPI listing with gender icons and the corresponding number of the residents that triggered the CKPI. Tree maps show information pertinent to a specified category. The Resident Detail chart shows the resident name, room number, number of CKPIs triggered, and the CKPIs. An icon appears in the column of the triggered CKPI.

The information on the Resident Characteristics page pulls from the most recent MDS that is in exported, export ready, or accepted status.

The CKPI listing shows the triggered CKPIs based on the filters selected, gender icons appear under each CKPI with the corresponding number of  the residents that triggered that CKPI.

There are 5 Tree Maps and each Tree Map shows information in data boxes that are pertinent to a category; Physician, Unit, Diagnosis Group, Treatment Group, and Prescription Category. The darker the shaded box the more residents are in that particular category within that data box. Hover over a particular category to show more information.
