TASKS (PAPER) - Resolve or Cancel a Task

When a Task assigned to a resident is no longer needed, resolve or cancel the task. Resolving/Cancelling removes the task from the resident's Task tab and also removes it from the printable Care Record.

  1. Facility > Clinical > Resident > Task tab.

  2. Click edit to the left of the Task Description. An Edit Task pop-up appears.

  3. At the top of the pop-up, click either Resolve or Cancel.

  4. Click Save. The Task is removed from the resident Task List and from the Care Record.

  5. Reprint the Task Flow Sheet.

  • Selecting either Resolve or Cancel is not significant from a PointClickCare reporting standpoint. Follow your Facility Policy and Procedure to determine which selection is made.

  • The name, Date and Time a task is resolved/cancelled as well as the name of the person who completed the action are recorded in the Task History
