Clinical Charts are generated from either the Clinical Reports listings screen or from the resident’s Clinical chart.
You can select from a Clinical Chart template type, specify a date range and include options for photos and documentation lines on the cover page. You can also see previously generated Clinical Charts for that resident in the last 7 days.
Clinical Charts are generated either ‘on demand’ within minutes or are queued overnight to be generated, based on internal logic and the Clinical Chart length. After the Clinical Chart is generated, it can be seen from the Generate Clinical Chart window or from the Documents tab of the resident chart.

Do one of the following:

Clinical > Reports > Generate/View Clinical Chart, select a Resident Number or Name using the search icon.

Clinical > Resident > click Print > Generate/View Clinical Chart.

Select a Clinical Chart template type.

Select a Date Range up to 60 months.

Select Include Resident Photo on Cover Page Only, if applicable.

Select Include Non-EMAR Documentation Lines on Cover Page, if applicable.

View Chart Details for the list of reports included and click More to see report filter options as part of the Clinical Chart template type.

Click Generate Clinical Chart.

Click OK. After the Clinical Chart is generated, it appears under Previously Generated Clinical Charts of this report screen and the Documents tab of the resident chart.

Based on the Clinical Chart template type, the option for Include Resident Photo on Report Level is selected or cleared. This is a view only option from the resident level.

You can select Non-EMAR Documentation lines, allowing for additional paper based documents to be added/appended manually. You can add up to 5 additional lines to a Clinical Chart cover page.

You can view the progress of the Clinical Chart from the Previously Generated Clinical Chart section. It can show as ‘In Progress (% complete), Scheduled or appears as a link. You can view the Clinical Chart with appropriate security permission.

The Generate/View Clinical Chart option only appears in the Clinical resident header, it is not shown from Admin tab.

Depending on your security permissions, the Generate/View Clinical Chart link can also appear as Generate Clinical Chart.

Date Range must be selected and selection can be between 1 day and 60 months.
