Security for Immunizations

The following are security permissions related to Immunization configuration of the Clinical application. 2 Clinical Setup Role (system) are roles available, or you can create a custom role with the following permissions.

Do one of the following:
- Single facility: Admin > Setup > Security Roles.
- Multi-facility: Management Console > Standards > Financial Management > Security Roles.
Edit an existing or create New security role(s). Click Save.
Ensure appropriate users are assigned to the role(s).

Security Permission	Access Level
Major Module = Clinical
Clinical Tabs (parent)	Access to the Clinical tabs of the resident chart.
Immunizations	Determines user access to the Immunization (Immun) tab on the resident chart views. N - Immun tab is hidden from view. R - Immun tab appears, can read immunizations records on the screen. A - New button appears and can add new immunization records. E - Can update existing records, Immunizations shows in Quick Entry and Immunization Batch Entry link appear on clinical dashboard Immunization Issues pane. D - Strike Out button appears on update.
Clinical Dashboard (parent)	Access to the Clinical Dashboard.
Immunization Issues	Y - Access to Immunization Issues pane.
Shift Reports	Y- Access to Shift Reports in Clinical Dashboard.
Summary Reports	Y - Access to 24 Hour and 72 Hour Reports in Clinical Dashboard.
Communication Board (parent)	Access to Communication Board.
Shift Reports	Y - Access to Shift Reports.
Summary Reports	Y - Access to Summary Reports.
Documentation Reports (parent)	Access to Documentation Reports.
Immunization Report	Y- Access to this report.
Immunization Audit Report	Y - Access to this report.
Communication Reports (parent)	Access to Communication Reports.
Shift Report	Y - Access to this report.
24 hr. Summary	Y - Access to the 24 Hr. and 72 Hr. Summary Reports.
Setup - General Clinical Configuration	N - No access to General Configuration section of Setup. R - Access to view General Configuration section of Setup. A - Same as above. E - Access to Save General Configuration section of Setup. D - Same as above. Note This security could be required to see other sections of Setup.
Setup - Immunization	N - Cannot view configuration items. R - Access to view Immunization section of Setup. A - Same as above. E - Access to Save Immunization section of Setup. D - Same as above.
Historical Records (parent)	Access to the Historical Records in the resident chart.
View Immunization	Y - Access to view record.
Print Immunization	Y - Access to print record.
Major Module = Admin
Department/Position	Controls access to Admin > Setup > Departments/Positions. N - Cannot view Departments/Positions. R - Access to view Departments/Positions. A - Same as above. E - Access to assign/unassign and Save Departments/Positions. D - Same as above.
Major Module = EMC Multi-Facility Organization Only
Clinical Transfers (Historical Records)	Controls access to MPI Clinical Documentation settings. N - No access to MPI Clinical Documentation (Historical Records). R - Access to edit link to view settings. A - Access to amend settings and save and create new. E - Same as above. D - Access to delete.
