Managing Standing Orders

You can add standing orders such as beverages, snacks, and desserts for each individual resident.

  1. Residents tab > Resident Listing > Locate resident.

  2. Do one of the following

    • Click the resident name.

    • Click resident icon under Actions column.

    • Click Arrow button, select Resident Details.

  3. Expand Standing Orders section. Click Add Standing Order.

  4. Search menu item or menu item category.

  5. Select menu item. Click Next.

  6. Select Days

  7. Select Meals and Snacks.

  8. Click Print Meal Label, if applicable.

  • You are prompted when selecting menu items that are unsuitable for the resident.

  • You are alerted to order conflicts in the Standing Orders header.

  • With appropriate security access, Menu Items not listed can be added under the Administrator tab. See Managing Menu Items for more information.

  • You can enter a note to appear next to the menu item on the tray card and/or standing order label.

  • Click Serving Adjustment to change serving size. 

  • When saving unsuitable menu items, you are prompted to view the Diet Order Conflict Report.

  • Unsuitable menu items appear in red and struck out.

  • To edit a Standing Order, select the menu item and click the pencil icon.
