Enabling Task Manager

The Task Manager portal provides you with an overview of your facility’s scheduled workload per assignment for POC. Within the portal you can reallocate residents’ tasks to keep a balanced workload throughout the facility and manage staffing changes. The changes made in Task Manager are immediately reflected in POC and Mobile POC. With the appropriate security, you can also edit Assignment Groups and access the Intervention/Task Schedule Report within the Task Manager portal.

After Task Manager is enabled, the Task Manager Portal is available under the Care Management heading, and the Clinical security item of Task Manager Portal is available. See also: Security for Task Manager.

  1. Enable Task Manager: select Yes > Save.

  • The option of Enable Task Manager is only available if POC is enabled in the facility.

  • After Task Manager is enabled, the following changes occur in the POC Assignment Status pane of the Clinical Dashboard:

    • A Position filter is available.

    • The Manage Assignment button is no longer available.
