Overview of Updating Orders

You can fix a mistake or change an order after you save orders.

  • If the change you make to the order does not require a practitioner's signature or pharmacy communications, you can update the order in a few simple steps.

  • If the change you make to the order requires a practitioner's signature or pharmacy communications, you are prompted to provide the information needed to discontinue the original order, and complete the new order with a few additional steps.
