Creating Assessments

You can create a new assessment to evaluate a resident. If the assessment is scheduled, you can click + to create the assessment from the scheduler. If the assessment is not scheduled, you can click New to create the assessment.

Warning

When creating an assessment from the scheduler, it is recommended to keep Check all schedules to be cleared/updated upon completion of this assessment selected, otherwise the assessment remains on the scheduler after it is completed.

Note

An assessment is generally created in a resident's Clinical chart, but can also be created in the Admin chart, IRM, or CRM, if configured.

    • Click + for Next Assessment Due > click on an assessment name.

  • You can also create a new assessment by clicking copy for a completed assessment of the same type. The responses autopopulate from the previous assessment, and must be reviewed for accuracy and acknowledged or modified to reflect the resident's current status.

  • If configured, you can create a new assessment in IRM or CRM.

    • IRM: Resident's Inquiry Detail page > Assmnts/Verifications > click New.

    • CRM: Resident's Lead Details page > Assessments > click New.
