Trigger Summary Report (Advanced Report)

The Trigger Summary Report is an advanced report used to monitor the number of pressure ulcer risk factors being exhibited by residents. It enables staff to compare the current week to the previous week.

The Trigger Summary Report uses the documented responses from the following system POC Follow Up Questions (FUQ) to calculate the report results.

  1. Clinical > Reports > Trigger Summary Report.

  • Advanced Report security options must be enabled to access this report.

  • If the facility has not assigned the required poc system FUQ to tasks or interventions, a message appears that the report cannot access the data without the system FUQs being assigned.

  • The Trigger Summary Report also uses the documented values for the resident's weight from the Weights and Vitals section of the resident's chart.

The Trigger Summary Report uses the documented responses from the existing "system" POC Follow Up Question "What percentage of the meal was eaten?".

The "Nutrition" POC "system" FUQ includes the following list values:

The "Urinary Continence" POC "system" FUQ includes the following list values:

  • Complete Control [includes use of indwelling urinary catheter that does not leak urine].

  • Incontinent.

The Trigger Summary Report uses the documented responses from the existing "system" POC Follow Up Question "Control of bowel movement, with appliance or bowel continence programs", if employed.

The "Bowel Continence" POC "system" FUQ includes the following list values:

  • Continent - Complete Control [includes the use of ostomy device that does not leak].

  • Incontinent.
