Resident-centric Conversations - Resident Header

Those with access to Resident-centric Conversation see an area within the Resident Header (Admin or Clinical tab) that shows any active Resident-centric Conversations for a resident. This area only appears if there are any Active and/or Unread Conversations for that resident.

If there are Unread Conversations, the number of Active Conversations and the number of Unread Conversations appear in brackets and in red. If there are no Unread Conversations but there are Active Conversations, you see the number of Active Conversations for that resident in black.

You can click this Conversations area of the header to expand to view the Unread and Active Conversations.

Based on security permissions, you can do/see the following:

  • All active conversations for the resident sorted by Sent Date and Time.

  • Select the action icon next to the conversation

  • Open the conversation by clicking the linked message under the Most Recent Message column. You can add to the conversation and automatically add yourself as a participant in the conversation

  • View the Sent Date and Time of the most recent message.

  • View participants in the conversation.

  1. From a resident chart with active Secure Conversations, view the Resident Header.

  2. Click the Conversations area of the resident header.

  3. View the active conversations.

  4. Click the Conversations area again to collapse.

  • If you do not have access to Secure Conversations, you do not see this area on the Resident Header.

  • Any conversations with unread messages by any user appears in bold text across all columns.

  • You can hover over the most recent message to view the entire message without clicking the message link.

  • Action icon items are dependent on security permissions.

  • You must have appropriate security permissions to Secure Conversations.
