Completing Password Rules

Password rules provide guidelines for users to create passwords. Organizations set parameters such as length, complexity, expiration, and the number of failed logins. 

Note

Password rule changes do not affect current passwords. Rules are applied when a new user is created and when an existing user changes his/her password.

  1. Do one of the following: 

    • For single facilityAdmin > Setup > Security > Password Rules.

    • For multi-facility: Management Console > Standards >  Security > Password Rules.
