Mapping Pick Lists for IRM to CRM Migration

Use the IRM to CRM pick list mapping tool to map certain lists to migrate from IRM to CRM. If you currently use IRM, the migration an option to complete when your organization decides to no longer use IRM. The pick list migration maintains details to reduce manual re-entry while reducing errors.

During the mapping, in certain pick lists, you can create new or edit an existing CRM item. This saves time because you don't exit the mapping tool to add or edit in the CRM module.

You can delete some CRM pick list items that are not related to your mapping. However, system items in the CRM pick lists cannot be deleted.

If you use Eligibility Verification, to verify insurance in CRM, Master Insurances must be associated to a Payer. If the Master Insurance is not associated to a Payer, the verification request fails. In Payer Setup, review Valid Insurance Companies and ensure Master Insurances are associated to a Payer.

Note

Deleted IRM pick list items appear in red on the pick list mapping tool. They are included in the mapping because of the historical inquiry information. 

Warning

You must have IRM to CRM Migration Tool set to yes in security.

You must complete the mapping process before you start the migration.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Single facilityAdmin > Setup Pick List Mapping.

    • Multi-facility: Management Console > Standards > Financial Management > Pick List Mapping.

  2. Click map.

  3. Map the fields as required. You can save mapping at any time and return to complete later.

  4. Click Save Mapping.
