Removing Templates from a Document Manager Packet

You can remove a template from a Document Manager Packet.  This is helpful to update packets if a template is selected in error or no longer required in the packet. The packet is updated immediately when the template is removed.

  1. Click Packet Name.

  2. Click Template arrow.

  3. Select Category for Admin or Clinical Documents.

  4. Clear the template to excluded from the Packet.

  • Build a Corporately scoped packet and include all Documents in which your entire organization distributes to Residents.

  • Build Line Of Business scoped packets and include all documents in which your specific Lines of business distributes to Residents.

  • Build State-specific scoped packets and include all state required documents to be distributed to Residents.

  • Build Facility-specific scoped packets for each facility to include facility-specific documents which are distributed to Residents, such as price lists.

  • After building all your required packets, you can select multiple packets to be applied and generated for a Resident. For example, a Resident can be assigned your Corporate packet, The Line of Business packet, the State packet that applies to the state they reside in and the Facility packet they reside in, then all included documents and forms can be generated for signatures from the Resident and/or Responsible party.

  • Documents can be removed from the packet even after the packet is in use or generated for Residents.

  • The packet only appears to be generated for a Resident on or after the effective date enter.

  • Scope only appears in packets created at the management console.

  • You cannot edit or delete a Corporately or LOB scoped Packet at the Facility Level. Edit and delete must be completed at the management console.

  • A Packet requires at least one Document Template to be included.

  • Packet ID, Created by and revision by fields are populated and appear after saving or revising the packet.
