Photos in Conversations in the Mobile App

You may want to send photos as part of a conversation to facilitate communication on an issue whether it is specific to a resident or general in nature. You can view photos if security permits from the mobile app. No actions can be taken against photos as part of the conversation in the mobile app.

Note

Always add your photo first. If you enter text into the TigerText Secure Message field and then add your photo, the text is lost and only the photo is sent.

  1. From an active conversation, tap the camera icon to the left of the TigerText Secure Message field.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • To use your device to take a photo and send, select Take Photo.

    • To use photos stored on the device and send, Choose Existing.

  3. Add any text you want to send with this photo.

  4. Tap Send.

  • If sending photos, allow the device to either access the Camera or access the devices Photos. You may be prompted to allow or disallow access.

  • You cannot view photos sent if your security does not permit it. 

  • You cannot see to send photos if your security does not permit it.

  • You must have security permission to view and send photos.

    • Security Roles > Home module > Include Photos = Read or higher (view).

    • Security Roles > Home module > Include Photos = Read/Add or higher (send).
