Editing a Document Manager Packet

You can edit a Document Manager packet to update packet details and templates. Packet details include name, description, scope, and community activations.

  1. Click Packet Name.

  2. Select or clear the Templates to be included/excluded in the Packet.

  • Best Practices:

    • Build a Corporately scoped packet and include all documents in which your entire organization distributes to residents.

    • Build Line of Business scoped packets and include all documents in which your specific lines of business distributes to residents.

    • Build State specific scoped packets and include all state required documents to be distributed to residents.

    • Build Facility specific scoped packets for each facility to include facility specific documents to be distributed to residents, such as a price lists.

  • After building all your required packets you can select multiple packets to apply and generate for a Resident. E.G.: A Resident can be assigned your Corporate packet, The Line of Business packet, the State packet that applies to the state they reside in and the Facility packet they reside in, then all included documents and forms can be generated for signatures form the Resident and/or Responsible party.

  • When Scope is changed, all Document packets templates need to be selected again.

  • The packet only appears to be generated for a Resident on or after the effective date enter.

  • Scope appears in packets created at the management console.

  • You cannot edit or delete a Corporate or Line of Business scoped Packet at the Facility. Edit and delete must be completed at the management console.

  • A Packet requires at least one document template to be included.

  • Packet ID, Created by, and revision by fields are populated and display after saving or revising the packet.
