Mood and Behaviour Report

The Mood and Behaviour Report summarizes resident behaviour trends. This report helps nursing and social services staff members identify changes in resident behaviours, understand patterns across shifts, and summarize information for MDS reporting.

The Mood and Behaviour Report uses documented reponses from the alternate mood and behaviour follow up questions (FUQs), for example: Negative statements exhibited? and Repetitive questions exhibited? Click the information icon in the Report Options page to view a list of all FUQs.

Note

If your facility uses the Behavior Symptoms FUQ, use the Behaviour Report instead of the Mood and Behaviour Report.

  1. Clinical > Reports > Mood and Behaviour Report.

  • Resident or Unit or Floor - Select option.

  • Status - Select option.

  • Summary Only - Select to view a summary of each mood and behaviour by unit and shift. Do not select to view details of each mood and behaviour by resident.

  • Report On Week Ending - Type information.

  • Sort by - Select option.

  • This Report tracks the number of times each behaviour is exhibited. Each response of Exhibited and Easily Alerted, Exhibited and Not Easily Altered, and Exhibited is counted as one instance of that behaviour.

  • The Total # Cur Week column shows the number of unique moods or behaviours that were exhibited in the current week.
