The Current Posting Period section in the Trust Portal shows the month that is currently open for trust. This is the month that you must post transactions. you see an error message if you try to use a date outside the current month as the effective date in any transaction or if you try to post on a date outside the current month.
On the first business day of a new month, reconcile the activities of the month that ended and close the period to set the new month as the current month.
