Managing the Custom Assessments Library - Links

You can manage the assessments in the the Custom Assessments Library by using the links for each assessment.

  • Edit - Make changes to an assessment

  • Del - Delete an assessment from the Under Construction section.

  • Make available for scoring - Move an assessment from the Under Construction section to the Ready for Scoring/SPN Setup section.

  • Types - Modify the reasons for creating an assessment, e.g. Quarterly, Annual. Edit or retire the Types and/or create new Types, e.g. Significant Change.

  • Copy - Copy the assessment over to create a new assessment with a unique description, e.g. copy a Comprehensive Wound Assessment to create a Weekly Wound Assessment.

  • Print - Generate a printable view of the assessment. Use your browser's Print function to print the page(s).

  • Triggers - Generate a printable view of the Triggers for the assessment. Options include:

    • What will this UDA trigger?

    • How will this UDA be triggered?

    • Care Plan Items and Tasks

    • UDA High Risk Alert triggers

  • Facilities - Select the facilities that can use this assessment (this link is not available in single facility organizations).

  • View - View a system assessment. (system) assessments have a view link instead of an edit link).

  • Make available online - Move an assessment from the Ready for Scoring section to the On Line section.

    Note

    An Assessment is immediately available for selection in a resident's chart after clicking make available on-line.

  • Scoring - Add scores to an assessment.

  • Version - Create a new version of an assessment, using the same description. The version number generates automatically. After the new version is pushed online, the previous version automatically retires.

  • Retire - Move an assessment from the On Line section to the Retired section.
