Use the General Configuration to set details such as fiscal period, current fiscal year, and the ending month for the fiscal year of your organization. These options are pre-set by PointClickCare based on the facility's fiscal year end.

Under Organization Setup, click General Configuration. The GL/AP Setup - General Configuration page appears. Fiscal Periods shows the number of fiscal periods per year for the facility. Most organizations have 12 fiscal periods.

Current Fiscal Year field shows the current fiscal year.

Fiscal Year End Month shows the ending month for the fiscal year end month for the facility.

Review the settings for accuracy. You can only save these settings one time for each facility.

It is important that the client review the configuration in the Fiscal Periods, Current Fiscal Year, and Fiscal Year End Month fields before they save this page. If any aspect is incorrect with the fiscal year, current positing year, or fiscal year end month, they must contact Data Services at PointClickCare to make the appropriate changes.
