Enabling Service Time Tracking in POC

The POC Service Time Tracking tracks time spent providing care, and offers reporting on service time utilization and allocation. This helps manage ‘scope creep’ and the provision of unbilled services to residents within your facility.

You must complete setup in two areas to enable Service Time Tracking: General Configuration and POC General Configuration.

General Configuration

  1. Track Planned Time for Resident Tasks/Interventions - select Yes and enter date for time tracking go live.

POC General Configuration

  1. Clinical > Setup > POC General Configuration.

  2. Enable Actual Time Tracking For Tasks and Interventions in POC - select Yes and enter date for time tracking go live.

  3. Allow Users to Track Unscheduled Tasks – select Yes and enter date. If Yes, caregivers can select from a list of unscheduled tasks in POC to document for a task that is not part of a resident’s chart.
