POC Unscheduled Task Alerts Dashboard Pane

The POC Unscheduled Task Alerts pane of the Clinical Dashboard shows alerts generated if an unscheduled task is documented in POC. Review these alerts to determine if the task should be added to the resident's chart or cleared.

Locate Dashboard pane:

  1. Hover over Clinical > Select Dashboard under the Care Management heading.

  2. Locate POC Unscheduled Task Alerts pane.

Options / Actions:

  • Show Alerts in Last - select option from list

  • Sort By - select Date or Resident Name

  • Resident Search - enter resident name to filter by resident. 

  • Clinical Alerts Listing Report – select for a printable view based on the selected filters.

  • Click edit to review the task. To add the task to the resident's chart, click Active, add a Frequency and click Save.

  • Click Clear Alerts after selecting one or more alerts. Click OK to confirm. The alert(s) is/are cleared and your name is recorded for the action.

  • Clearing an alert does not have an undo option and your username is recorded for each action.

  • The Clinical > Reports > Alert Listing report provides more criteria and filters, such as filtering by Unit/Floor.

  • Click the Resident Name link to open the dash tab of the selected resident’s chart. The Alerts pane for that specific resident can be viewed.

  • The POC Unscheduled Task Alerts pane is available if Service Time Tracking is enabled (Clinical > General Configuration > Track Planned Time for Resident Tasks/Interventions) and users are permitted to document unscheduled tasks in POC (Clinical > Setup > POC General Configuration > Allow Users to Track Unscheduled Tasks)
