Overview of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Security Roles

When you enable CRM, Lead Management and Availability & Occupancy, 4 system roles can be assigned for users security access. For CRM web and mobile access and Availability & Occupancy web access, you can assign the CRM Administrator (system), CRM Sales Manager (system) or CRM Sales Representative (system) role and for Availability & Occupancy mobile access you can assign the Availability & Occupancy Mobile (system) role. 

CRM Administrator (system) - gives access to the Setup areas and the end user functions of CRM which include:

  • Lead Management.

  • Insurance Coverage.

  • Contact Management.

  • Account Management.

  • Availability & Occupancy.

  • CRM Setup.

  • Lead Management Reporting.

  • Manage System Dashboard.

CRM Sales Manager (system) and CRM Sales Representative (system) - gives access to the end user areas of CRM for:

  • Lead Management.

  • Insurance Coverage.

  • Contact Management.

  • Account Management.

  • Availability & Occupancy.

  • Lead Management Reporting.

Availability & Occupancy Mobile (system) -gives A&O Mobile access under Mobile App security for Availability & Occupancy to View Availability & Occupancy and Search Availability.

Mobile access for CRM Lead, Contact, Account and Report Management are fully controlled by the end user's CRM module security access.

CRM actually operates at EMC, although the menu links are available from the community level and a person’s access to CRM community information is determined by the communities that person has security access to. A person with access to only one community can only access CRM information for that one community.
