Setting Up Diet Related Pick Lists

There are four diet related pick lists that can be configured, Diet Type, Diet Texture, Fluid Consistency, and Diet Supplement. Each of these lists appear in the New Order Window at the end user level and on different reports as applicable. You can add, edit, and delete any of the items on these pick list.

Note

In a multi-facility organization, pick lists must be setup at the Management Console level. Then use the facilities link to choose which facilities can use that item.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Single Facility: Clinical > Setup > Orders > Pick Lists.

    • Multi-facility: Management Console > Standards > Care Management > Physician Orders > Pick Lists.

  2. Click the name for one of the four Diet related pick lists. The list next to each name shows what is currently available to your staff.

  3. Multi-facility: Click facilities > select facilities > Click Save.
